Welcome to Woods Hill!
We rent both the Lodge and the 19th century Farmhouse located on our farm where guests can see our pastured cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, and historic barn.
The property is surrounded by miles of hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing trails. It is 28 miles to Loon or Cannon Ski Resorts, 39 miles to Mt. Washington, and 15 miles to the Appalachian Trail. This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a ski weekend with friends, a family vacation away from it all, or an executive retreat. The views are breathtaking.
The Lodge
The Lodge at Woods Hill is a spectacular 3200 sq. foot log cabin overlooking a pond in the foothills of the White Mountains. It was once the mountain getaway for the famous 1950s singer, Patti Page, who was known for ‘Tennessee Waltz.’
The log cabin is completely private and has a large master bedroom with king-sized bed. There are two full bathrooms with showers and a clawfoot tub. The library loft has a queen-sized bed and sitting room. There are also 3 sofa beds for additional guests. The amazing library stocked with old favorites and unique reads is an unexpected surprise. Curl up on the enormous leather sectional and read a good book in front of the fieldstone fireplace.
The beautiful dining room table seats 24. The kitchen is fully outfitted with a 6-burner Viking Stove with plenty of room for side-by-side chefs. There are 2 dishwashers and a full bar. Family and friends will love playing games, relaxing on the huge screened in porch or playing Bumper Pool. Outside there is a fire pit, regulation horseshoes, a pergola overlooking the swimming pond.

The Farmhouse
The farmhouse is a beautiful homestead built in 1849 and has been renovated throughout the years. It has 7 unique bedrooms, and 5 full bathrooms including a whirlpool bathtub. There are 2 kings, 2 queens, 3 fulls, and 8 bunk beds. The bedrooms have beautiful views of the White Mountains or the pastures and grazing animals.
The farmhouse also has a beautiful parlor with an antique W.P. Emerson piano from Boston. There is also an adorable reading nook with books. There is a summer yoga studio on the 3rd floor and a small gym in the finished basement. The gym has a weight machine and a treadmill.
